Adam Shalaby, a cofounder at Meridiyen, previously worked as a research fellow at an NGO focusing on humanitarian governance in the Middle East. Shifting towards the BRICS movement, Adam primarily engages with the agricultural sector, analysing its role in sustaining state security amidst global shifts of power.

He holds a bachelors degree in International Politics and a Diploma in Islamic Sciences alongside an upcoming postgraduate programme in Security Studies.
