Melika Saadi began her political research and communication journey in 2017, launching a website that served in deconstructing political developments into succinct articles for students, provided as a subversive alternative to legacy media outlets.

She holds a bachelors degree in Politics, and has undertaken programmes such as the “Moral Foundations of Politics” course provided by Yale.

As a research analyst at Meridiyen, Melika focuses on the ESG sector of the BRICS movement with a particular emphasis on how natural resources influence state power in the emerging economies of the global south.
